I successfully imported 162 Palm notes form my Palm Desktop. However, they will not sort by subject. Even though I sorted by A-Z, they import by date or some other criterion. They are in alpha order in the Notespark, but on the Apple 3GS, they are scrambled. Is there any way to sort them on the handheld?

I was also able to "select all" of my notes from Mail, copy and paste them into MS Office Excel. After tedious editing, I saved the file as a CSV. It imported fine.

Hi Richard.

Mac Palm Desktop CSV import should be up on the site in a few days. LMK how it works for you.

In the meantime, if you could grab some sample files from one of your clients, that would help me make sure that the import will work properly.

Be aware that I will have to read the files to figure out what's going on, so your doctor friends should not send me files with sensitive information.

Thanks!

Dear Sho,

I am a Mac consultant in New Orleans, well that is when I am not running away from various hurricanes.
Anyway- I have a couple of Doctor friend/ clients that have copious notes ( one has 800 ) on their Palm or Palm desktop and would love to be able to move the notes to their iPhones.
I cannot thank you enough for doing what Apple should have done before they released the iphone.
I remember how buddy buddy Apple was with Palm after the failure of the Newton.
You would think basic notes capability built into Palm on the first day would have been part and parcel of the iPhone- well I'm glad the developers like you are out there- Apple seems to be doing some fantastic things but doing the little things poorly sometimes...
